Udaipur, February 26 — Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to tie the knot in a private ceremony in Udaipur, with sources confirming a strict no-phone policy to maintain privacy.
The wedding is scheduled for February 26, with festivities beginning on February 24. Close sources told India Today that the event will be a small, intimate affair attended only by immediate family and close friends, with no industry colleagues or actors invited. All guests and team members involved in capturing the event have signed NDAs to prevent leaks.
In a departure from typical celebrity weddings, the couple has opted for a low-profile celebration, emphasizing tradition and privacy. Pre-wedding rituals have already taken place separately within their respective families, including events hosted by Rashmika’s maternal relatives and Vijay’s family.
Vijay and Rashmika have also personally written handwritten notes to friends, requesting blessings and asking for no gifts, reflecting their understated approach to the occasion.
Despite busy filming schedules across multiple industries, the actors have been actively involved in planning their wedding. Following the ceremony, both plan to take a month-long break to spend time together.
Additionally, the couple will host a larger reception in Hyderabad on March 4 for friends and industry colleagues, as previously reported.
While their relationship has often been in the public eye, Vijay and Rashmika have kept their personal lives largely private. Their chemistry on screen in hits like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade has made them one of Telugu cinema’s most beloved pairs, with fans eagerly following their journey.
