‘Border 2’ Maintains Momentum, Nears ₹300 Crore Milestone

Box Office Update:
The war drama Border 2, starring Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan, continues its impressive run at the Indian box office. Released on January 23 under the direction of Anurag Singh, the film has shown consistent performance despite a slight decline during weekdays.

On Day 12 (Tuesday), Border 2 reportedly earned around ₹5.75 crore, maintaining its momentum with collections similar to the previous day. The film’s steady performance has contributed to its total domestic collection nearing ₹300 crore, with early estimates from Sacnilk placing the overall box office figure at approximately ₹286 crore.

Performance Highlights:
Despite a modest dip in collections on its second Monday, Border 2 managed to sustain its box office presence. The film previously collected about ₹22.5 crore on Day 10, and its Day 12 earnings kept pace with Day 11, reflecting strong audience interest and consistent ticket sales.

Global Success:
While domestic collections experienced a slight slowdown, Border 2 has already crossed the ₹300 crore mark globally within just 11 days of release. The worldwide box office total now stands at an impressive ₹335.75 crore, underscoring its status as a major commercial hit. The film is produced by T-Series Films and JP Films.

Star Cast and Sequel Announcement:
The movie features a star-studded cast including Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa, and Anya Singh. Cameo appearances include Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, and Puneet Issar.

Following its success, producer Nidhi Dutta has announced that a sequel to Border 2 is in the works, in collaboration with Bhushan Kumar, hinting at continued excitement for the franchise’s future.
