The highly anticipated gangster romance O Romeo officially hit theatres on February 13, and initial reviews are already pouring in. The film, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Avinash Tiwary, explores a tumultuous love story marked by obsession, heartbreak, and violence.

Ahead of its release, a special screening was organized for members of the film fraternity. Several Bollywood personalities took to social media to share their early impressions. Filmmaker Homi Adajania, currently collaborating with Shahid on Cocktail 2, lauded the film, saying, “Love and gore galore! Vishal Bhardwaj, your storytelling. Shahid Kapoor, so good brotherman. Triptii Dimri, you are so watchable. Crew and cast of O Romeo (applause).”

Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, also shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing enthusiasm for the film. She praised Vishal Bhardwaj as a “genius of finesse” and commended the film’s background score. Highlighting Triptii Dimri’s performance, she called her “ferocious and innocent,” while also complimenting Nana Patekar and describing Tamannaah Bhatia as “ethereal.”

As the film continues to garner attention, early reviews suggest that Shahid Kapoor’s performance might be his best yet, and Triptii Dimri’s portrayal is being celebrated for its intensity and depth.
