On a personal level, she opened up about how her priorities have shifted with marriage and kids, stating her “life has changed tremendously.” “You’ve altered your values,” she said. I can’t just pack up and go to the movies anymore. I’m not creating five films a year. I don’t go there as much as I used to. I was feeling a little stifled in Bollywood.

Priyanka had spoken about her decision to take a sabbatical from Bollywood at the zenith of her career a few months ago. I started feeling a little constricted working in India. “I like to use that word because I wanted to see what else is out there,” she told the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

When asked if she was going through a hard patch in Bollywood at that time she openly responded, “Nothing comes easy. We all have our issues. “I am just a dude that does not like to be in the shit, because then you get used to the smell,” she said. “I’m a huge fan of pivoting. When life throws us a curve ball, we may pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, take a time to grieve and experience the pain and pivot. “I’ve done that a few times in my career.”

As far as work goes, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi and a project with Orlando Bloom lined up next. Also in development is Mira Nair’s biopic Amri.
