Vijay’s producer of Jana Nayagan was requested to shorten his Cannes visit in order to address the matter, according to recent reports.

Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth, has been awaiting approval from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) since December of last year. The film was submitted to the revising committee just days prior to its scheduled release in January. Vijay, the film’s main actor, was appointed as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu five months later. A month prior to this, an HD print of the film was leaked online; however, it has yet to be certified.

Jana Nayagan has not yet been certified by the CBFC.

Venkat K Narayana, the producer of Jana Nayagan at KVN Productions, addressed the media following his appearance at a temple on Friday evening. While initially reticent to disclose the film’s status, he acknowledged that it has not yet been certified. Additionally, he expressed his expectation that the certification process would be completed expeditiously, enabling the film to be released worldwide.

“This is not the appropriate forum for discussing Jana Nayagan.” Darshan of the temple was my cause for arrival. However, as I previously stated, we are currently anticipating the arrival of the certificate. I am confident that they will distribute it in the near future. We will distribute the product as soon as possible. This is not the appropriate forum for discussing any other topics, thank you. The producer stated, “I arrived here to receive the blessings of God.”

Venkat responded, “The release date will be announced as soon as we receive the censor certificate,” when prompted to provide additional information. Once the censor certificate is in our possession, we will notify you in advance. We will disseminate it in a grand manner worldwide. He also expressed his satisfaction that Vijay had genuinely evolved into a leader of the people, much like their title.

The producer expressed his satisfaction with Vijay sir’s appointment as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, stating, “I arrived here to see him and I am extremely pleased.” As you are aware, the appellation “Jana Nayagan” has been implemented. He has been appointed as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, or Jana Nayagan. I am exceedingly pleased. That is the reason I arrived for darshan.

About Jana Nayagan

Vinoth directs Jana Nayagan, which is produced by Venkat and features music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film was originally scheduled to be released in theatres on January 9 in celebration of Pongal; however, it was abruptly postponed. The film was referred to the revising committee as a result of a complaint submitted by a member of the examining committee. The courts did not provide the filmmakers with any relief.

Vijay recently requested that Venkat return to Chennai from the Cannes Film Festival, as reported by India Today. The actor-politician reportedly desired the producer’s return to personally oversee the final stages of the film’s release, despite the fact that he was present for industry meetings and screenings. It is uncertain whether Jana Nayagan, which also features Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, and Pooja Hegde, will be released in the near future.
