Sunny Deol’s highly anticipated film Border 2 is maintaining its impressive momentum at the global box office, crossing significant milestones in just 19 days. The blockbuster, featuring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, continues to captivate audiences and is now on the verge of surpassing the lifetime overseas gross of Salman Khan’s Sikandar.
Overseas Box Office Challenge
In 2025, Salman Khan’s Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, failed to meet expectations, earning a total of 58 crore gross overseas. Border 2 is currently only about 2 crore away from overtaking this figure, highlighting its growing international appeal.
Worldwide Collection Update
In India, Border 2 has amassed approximately 346.34 crore net in 19 days, with a gross total of around 408.68 crore including taxes. Combining domestic and international earnings, the film’s worldwide gross now stands at approximately 464.68 crore. It is rapidly approaching the 500 crore milestone, with only around 35 crore remaining to enter the exclusive club. This would mark a historic first for actors Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
Upcoming Box Office Targets
Before reaching this landmark, Border 2 is set to surpass several notable Bollywood hits, including Hrithik Roshan’s War (466.82 crore), Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki (470.6 crore), Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 (562.12 crore), and Ahan Panday’s Saiyaara (570.67 crore).
