The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension for the CUET UG 2026 registration deadline. Eligible students now have until February 4, 2026, to complete their applications at cuet.nta.nic.in. The fee payment window remains open until February 7, 2026, and candidates will be able to make corrections to their applications from February 9 to February 11, 2026.
The registration process, which initially started on January 3, 2026, was set to close earlier but has now been extended following a strong response from applicants. The move aims to provide additional time for students facing challenges in form submission or fee payment.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration and fee payment before the respective deadlines to ensure their participation in the CUET UG 2026 entrance exam. The NTA has also clarified that the correction window will allow applicants to make necessary edits to their submitted forms, including basic details and educational information.
To register, students should visit the official website, fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, pay the fee online via credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI, and download the confirmation receipt.
CUET UG serves as a common entrance exam for admission into undergraduate programs such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.E./B.Tech, BBA, and more across participating universities nationwide.
