HDFC Bank has named Mr. Vibhash Naik as its new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), starting on February 1, 2026. The Board of Directors approved the appointment today based on recommendations from the Governance, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee.
Mr. Naik will join the Bank as a Senior Management Personnel.
Before this, Mr. Naik was the Chief Human Resources Officer at HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. There, he led Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Corporate Administration. During his 14 years at HDFC Life, he played a key role in building a technology-driven HR system focused on improving employee experience and reinforcing organizational culture.
With more than 25 years of experience in Talent Management, Organization Development, Performance Management, HR Technology, and Rewards, Mr. Naik has held leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, Religare Macquarie, Tata Interactive, and Atos Origin.
He earned a Master’s degree in Labour Studies from the University of Mumbai.
