Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Rumored to Bring Faster Wireless Charging and High-End Features

Leaked details suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could finally address the brand’s longstanding wireless charging limitations. While Samsung has traditionally offered modest 15W wireless charging, recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may support up to 25W wireless charging, with the standard S26 and S26 Plus supporting around 20W. Additionally, wired charging could see an upgrade to 60W, promising faster power delivery.

The leaks, which are based on One UI 8.5 code hints, also point to a new ‘Super Fast Wireless Charging’ mode. This development marks a significant shift for Samsung, moving away from its cautious approach and aligning more closely with competitors offering 50W or faster wireless options.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is also anticipated to boast a high-end quad-camera setup led by a 200MP sensor, ensuring top-tier photography capabilities.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be unveiled globally around late February 2026, with an India launch likely scheduled for late February or early March. Pricing is rumored to start at approximately Rs 1,34,999.

This anticipated upgrade signals Samsung’s response to user demand for faster and more practical charging solutions, while promising flagship-level performance and design.
