In a dramatic and historic clash at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea mounted an incredible comeback to beat West Ham 3-2, overturning a two-goal deficit for the first time in their Premier League history. Enzo Fernandez’s stoppage-time strike sealed the victory and handed manager Liam Rosenior his sixth win from his first seven matches in charge.

West Ham took an early lead through Jarrod Bowen’s well-placed finish after a cross deflected into his path, and they doubled their advantage when Crysencio Summerville netted from close range following a slick pass from Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The visitors’ dominance in the first half was evident, with Chelsea’s fans booing their team off at halftime.

Rosenior responded decisively, making three substitutions at the break—Benoit Badiashile, Jorrel Hato, and Alejandro Garnacho—to inject energy and focus. The changes paid off quickly, as Joao Pedro headed in Fofana’s cross to halve the deficit. Chelsea then equalized when Marc Cucurella scored from close range after a scramble in the box.

The match’s turning point came late, with West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo missing a golden opportunity to put the game beyond Chelsea, hitting the post from close range. The Hammers’ frustration grew when Todibo was sent off for grabbing Pedro by the throat after a heated melee.

In the final moments, Fernandez’s stunning strike from outside the box sealed the remarkable comeback, sparking wild celebrations among the Blues.
