A female foreign traveler has gone viral after sharing her experience aboard the inaugural Vande Bharat sleeper train launched earlier this week between Kamakhya and Howrah. In a widely shared Instagram video titled “Foreigner POV: Vande Bharat Sleeper Train,” travel content creator Anusha expressed her admiration for the new state-of-the-art train introduced by Indian Railways.
In the video, Anusha noted, “This is the Vande Bharat sleeper train from Guwahati to Kolkata. I am traveling on it on the very first day. Looks like the entire country decided to travel today,” highlighting the train’s sleek exterior and automatic glass doors.
She further remarked, “The Vande Bharat sleeper doesn’t feel like a typical train,” praising the bright interiors, comfortable seating, and quality food served onboard. Anusha added that if this service represents the future of Indian travel, she is thoroughly impressed.
Captioning the video, she stated, “Rode the Vande Bharat sleeper train for the first time on its inauguration day from Guwahati, Assam to Kolkata, and honestly, I’m very impressed.”

The inaugural commercial run of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train received an overwhelmingly positive response following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration last week.
