This is happening because Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz which’s a very important waterway. The Strait of Hormuz is used to transport 20 percent of the worlds oil and natural gas. Iran closed it because of its war with the United States and Israel.

Iran said it did not give Chinese ships permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian consulate in Mumbai posted a message on X saying that Iran did not let a Chinese ship pass through.

The ship, called the Sun Profit is. Operated by Chinese people. It had to change course and turn back. The Iranian consulate said that Iran does not give ships blanket approval to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

The post included a picture of the ships navigation. The picture shows that the ship had to turn before it could enter the Strait of Hormuz.

This is happening because Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. The strait is very important for transporting oil and natural gas. Iran opened it on Friday. Then closed it again on Saturday. This was because the United States is blocking ports.

The Sun Profit ship is currently anchored in the Persian Gulf. It was on its way to China from Saudi Arabia.

There was another incident near the Strait of Hormuz. Two Indian ships were shot at by gunboats.

The Indian government said the two ships were the Sanmar Herald and the Jag Arnav. This is the time Iranian forces have fired on Indian ships in the area.

The Sanmar Herald and the Jag Arnav were passing through the Strait of Hormuz when they were shot at. The ships turned back after the incident. Luckily no one was hurt.

The Sanmar Herald was carrying oil from Iraq to India. The Jag Arnav was on its way from Saudi Arabia to India.

The Indian government responded quickly to the incident. They called the ambassador, Mohammed Fathali to a meeting.

The foreign secretary, Vikram Misri told Fathali that India is very concerned about the incident. Misri reminded the government of its role, in keeping the Strait of Hormuz safe.

Misri asked the government to make sure Indian ships can pass through the strait safely.

Fathali said he would tell the government about Indias concerns.
