“President Ordered Bold Action”: US Forces Release Videos of Iran Airstrikes

In a significant escalation, the United States and Israel conducted coordinated airstrikes across Iran yesterday, targeting key military installations amid stalled nuclear negotiations and reports of Iran resuming nuclear activities. The operation, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, targeted several Iranian cities, including the capital, Tehran.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) shared visuals of the strikes on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a statement from the Pentagon. CENTCOM posted, “As the President stated, our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime. The President ordered bold action. CENTCOM forces are delivering an overwhelming and unrelenting blow.”

President Donald Trump had authorized this decisive military action, emphasizing the need to neutralize threats from Iran to protect American interests. The strikes targeted strategic installations believed to be linked to Iran’s nuclear program and military capabilities.

Iran responded swiftly to the attacks, with missile strikes on Israeli cities, many intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system. Additionally, Iran launched missiles at the United Arab Emirates, targeting facilities in Dubai, including Dubai’s man-made island, Palm Jumeirah, and the luxury Burj Al Arab hotel. Key infrastructure such as Dubai International Airport and Jebel Ali Seaport also suffered damage.

Iranian authorities confirmed the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader since 1989, claiming he was killed in the US strikes. Iran described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history,” according to state television.

The escalation has raised fears of wider conflict in the Middle East. The UAE’s strategic facilities and Israel’s cities have become focal points of Iranian retaliation, signaling a tense regional standoff.

International leaders, including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, called for an immediate cessation of hostilities, warning of “grave consequences” for global security. The European Union and Russia also urged de-escalation to prevent further destabilization.

This development marks a dramatic escalation in the ongoing tensions over Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional influence, with the world watching closely.
