Is the Rs. 120 crore AP&TS deal for Yash’s Toxic fake? Dil Raju responds

Yash’s Gangster Action Drama Toxic Sparks Controversy and Buzz Ahead of Release

Yash’s much-anticipated gangster action film, Toxic, is making headlines for multiple reasons as its release approaches. The film has become a focal point of controversy and industry speculation, drawing attention from various quarters.

The film’s teaser recently drew ire from the Women’s Commission, which expressed concerns over its content. Additionally, the National Christian Federation has filed a formal complaint with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), alleging that the teaser has hurt their religious sentiments. The organizations are demanding a review of the promotional material and possible restrictions on the film’s release.

Meanwhile, in industry circles, the theatrical rights for the Telugu states have reportedly been acquired by prominent producer Dil Raju. It was reported that Raju secured the rights for an unprecedented Rs. 120 crore. However, many trade insiders believe this figure may have been exaggerated as a publicity stunt to generate hype and attract audiences.

When questioned about the hefty deal at a recent event, Dil Raju addressed the rumors directly. “For those doubting the Rs. 120 crore deal to be fake, I will make my bank statement public once I transfer the funds to the producers,” he stated confidently, aiming to dispel speculation.

Toxic is produced by KVN Productions and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. The film features a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth, adding to the film’s anticipation.

The movie is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, and is expected to make a significant impact at the box office. The film’s intense themes, star cast, and the ongoing controversies have already set the industry abuzz, with fans eagerly awaiting its debut.

As the release date approaches, the filmmakers and producers are preparing for the film’s reception amid the political and social debates surrounding it.
