Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Sports Action Drama 'Peddi' Postponed; New Release Date Announced

The highly anticipated sports action drama ‘Peddi’, starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, has been officially postponed from its original release date. The film was initially scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2026, but the release has been pushed back due to incomplete shooting schedules. As a result, the release window has been taken over by Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’.

In an unexpected development, director Buchi Babu Sana casually revealed the new release date for ‘Peddi’ in a recent interview, without any prior official announcement. Fans were pleasantly surprised when it was announced that the film will now premiere on April 30, 2026. Earlier rumors suggested a release on May 1, but the makers confirmed the film will arrive a day earlier, much to the excitement of Ram Charan’s fans.

‘Peddi’ is a high-octane blend of sports and action, and features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The film brings together an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Divvyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie is also notable for its soundtrack composed by legendary musician AR Rahman. The film aims to combine intense sports action sequences with a compelling storyline, promising an engaging cinematic experience.

As fans await the film’s release, further updates on the trailer and promotional activities are expected in the coming weeks. ‘Peddi’ is touted to be one of the biggest releases of 2026, showcasing Ram Charan in a dynamic new avatar.
