Global markets welcome the updated KTM 250 Duke for the 2026 model year, featuring new color options and a more aggressive presence. The bike, which is set to reach Indian showrooms soon, continues KTM’s lineup refresh following recent launches of the 2026 KTM 390 Duke and 125 Duke.

New Colors Introduced

Internationally, the 2026 KTM 250 Duke is now available in two new color schemes: Ebony Black and Silver. The Ebony Black option maintains its classic all-black theme, with a refreshed design that now includes KTM’s signature orange accents on the headlamp cowl. The ‘250’ lettering on the tank extensions remains in orange, while ‘Duke’ is displayed in white, emphasizing a sleek, dark aesthetic.

The Silver variant, a completely new color for the model, features a clean, refined finish on the tank extensions and underseat frames. The ‘250’ branding is prominently displayed, with subtle orange accents on the tank extensions. This color option, which closely resembles the previous-generation Duke’s Silver, offers a minimalist, sporty appeal that balances aggressiveness with elegance.

In India, KTM’s official website lists existing color options—including Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue—alongside the new Silver. The Ebony Black color with orange highlights remains largely unchanged, with only minor updates to the headlamp cowl design.

Design and Features

Aside from the new colors, the 2026 KTM 250 Duke carries no major hardware or feature updates. It continues to be powered by a 249.07cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled LC4c engine producing 31 PS and 25 Nm of torque. The bike features a 6-speed gearbox with Quickshifter+ for clutchless shifting, a split-trellis frame, WP APEX USD forks at the front, and an offset WP APEX monoshock suspension at the rear with 10-step preload adjustment.

Braking is handled by 320mm front and 240mm rear discs, complemented by Bosch dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode. Rider aids include ride-by-wire technology, a Type-C charging port, and a 5-inch bonded glass TFT dashboard with a dedicated switch cube for menu navigation. Key features also include a track screen, turn-by-turn navigation, and headset pairing.

Pricing and Competition

The KTM 250 Duke is priced at a starting point of Rs 2.12 lakh in India, with no official confirmation yet on potential price increases for the 2026 model. It faces stiff competition from rivals such as the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Pulsar N250, and Hero Xtreme 250R.

As KTM rolls out these updates, enthusiasts can look forward to a more stylish and sportier 250 Duke, continuing the brand’s commitment to combining performance with vibrant design.
