Mumbai: The wedding between singer-composer Palaash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana, scheduled for November 23, 2025, was abruptly called off amid swirling rumors and allegations. Reports suggest that Muchhal was accused of cheating on Mandhana with an alleged choreographer, leading to a series of dramatic events.
Actor-producer Vidnyan Mane, who claims to be a childhood friend of Mandhana, made startling allegations, stating that Muchhal was caught red-handed with another woman in bed during the wedding celebrations. Mane further claimed that the incident led to Muchhal being physically assaulted by female Indian cricketers.
Mane also alleged financial misconduct, accusing Muchhal of cheating him out of ₹40 lakh related to an unreleased film project. He revealed that a complaint has been filed in Sangli, Maharashtra, and shared that the family of Muchhal has allegedly blackmailed him over film funding issues, increasing the film’s budget and demanding additional payments.

Palaash Muchhal has denied all accusations. Through his Instagram Stories, he stated, “The claims made by Vidnyan Mane are entirely baseless and false. They are made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation. My lawyer is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be addressed through appropriate legal channels.”

The couple’s wedding was called off unexpectedly, reportedly due to health emergencies involving Mandhana’s father and Muchhal himself. Following the cancellation, rumors spread that Muchhal had cheated Mandhana with a wedding choreographer. However, choreographers linked to the event, including Palash, Gulnaaz, and Nandika Dwivedi, clarified that they had no role in the wedding’s cancellation.
