Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), attacked education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday for his recent “dehshatgard” comment directed at the demonstrators by sharing a video of his conversation with the parent of a NEET candidate.
According to Dipke, the NEET candidate’s father, who committed suicide on June 18, traveled from Gujarat to question the education minister.
“Mera beta sab ke jaisa hi hai, isko dehshatgard bol rahe hai.” My son is identical to everyone else. How can he speak in such a way when they are accusing him of being a terrorist? “Show them my son,” the father shouted in the CJP-shared video.
Sonam Wangchuk, an activist who started an indefinite hunger strike at the Jantar Mantar on Sunday to demand Pradhan’s resignation due to purported exam irregularities, joined the CJP demonstration.
Three days prior to the NEET UG retest, on June 18, the 18-year-old NEET candidate, whose father attended the CJP demonstration, is said to have committed suicide in Ahmedabad’s New Ranip neighborhood.
Early on Thursday morning, the child leaped from the sixth-floor balcony of his residence in the Tragad neighborhood. Residents were notified after a security guard discovered him laying in the residential complex’s common area. After being taken to a hospital, the medical staff pronounced him dead.
The attack on Pradhan’s dehshatgard by the CJP
The minister’s recent interview in which he referred to the satirical group as the “B team of disruptive elements” was the subject of the CJP founder’s “dehshatgard” jab.
“They are the disruptive elements’ B team. Those who were turned down by democracy have returned in disguise and are now pursuing the system. They shout slogans in support of those who wish to split the nation. In an interview with NDTV, Pradhan stated, “They have been identified.”
In response to Pradhan’s comments, Dipke said that the education minister “has the blood of 17 students on his hands.”
Dharmendra Pradhan refers to us as terrorists. However, the irony is that he has more than 17 pupils’ blood on his hands, according to Dipke’s post on X. He charged that the minister had neglected to address alleged anomalies in the nation’s testing system.
At least a dozen NEET candidates have died, and the administration has come under fire from the opposition and the CJP for suspected paper leaks and lack of accountability.
