In anticipation of the Flipkart Republic Day sale starting January 17, the iPhone 17 is expected to be available at a significant discount of Rs 8,000. The latest flagship from Apple, launched just a few months ago, is being teased on Flipkart’s platform with the offer, which may include a combination of bank deals, exchange benefits, and flat discounts.

According to Flipkart’s teaser page, the effective price of the iPhone 17 during the sale could drop below Rs 75,000, making it a compelling option for buyers seeking a relatively new iPhone at a lower cost. The device was originally launched in India at Rs 82,900, and the sale price is expected to be around Rs 74,990 after discounts.

However, some users have reported difficulties in availing of the deal, with the product still showing its original price on the platform. Flipkart has not yet clarified the exact deal structure, and the offer may be limited to a few hours or days once the sale officially begins. Customers are advised to check the platform again on January 17 for the final deal.

Meanwhile, Amazon is also running its Great Republic Day Sale, offering discounts on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models. The iPhone 17 Pro is listed at Rs 1,34,900, but Prime members can avail of a Rs 6,500 instant coupon, bringing the price down to Rs 1,28,400. Additionally, cashback offers of Rs 6,420 are available when purchased with an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card, reducing the final cost to approximately Rs 1,21,980. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, priced at Rs 1,49,900, can be further discounted to under Rs 1.40 lakh with similar offers.

For budget-conscious buyers, the iPhone 15 is currently available at Rs 51,999 for select variants, with an additional Rs 2,599 cashback on ICICI cards, providing a more affordable alternative in the Apple lineup.
