Actor Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela, have welcomed twins—a boy and a girl—bringing joy to the family. Ram’s father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi Konidela, announced the happy news on social media, assuring fans that both the mother and the babies are in good health.
Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness, writing, “With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings, and good wishes.”
Upasana had announced her second pregnancy in October 2025, following which the family hosted a grand baby shower. The couple’s first child, daughter Klin Kara, was born in 2023 after a decade of marriage.
Since the announcement, the couple has been flooded with congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues, and fans.
Ram Charan married Upasana, Vice-Chairperson of Apollo Charity, in June 2012, after their engagement in December 2011. The couple, who had been friends for years, eventually fell in love and tied the knot. Upasana is the granddaughter of Apollo Hospitals founder Prathap C Reddy, and Ram is the son of renowned Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi.
