Actor Ranveer Singh, along with co-star Sara Arjun and director Aditya Dhar, shared a cryptic post hinting at the upcoming first glimpse of the highly anticipated sequel, Dhurandhar 2. The film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
In a recent Instagram story, the team posted a message stating, “Tomorrow (February 3), 12:12,” which has sparked widespread curiosity among fans and industry insiders alike. While the content of the teaser remains under wraps, the announcement has intensified anticipation for the film’s launch.
Addressing speculation linking the teaser release with Sunny Deol’s Border 2, director Aditya Dhar clarified the timeline through his social media handle. He shared a fan-made meme with the caption, “Aditya Dhar mazak nahi, teaser jaldi,” and added, “Teaser will be out in a few days!”
Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, was a massive commercial success, grossing over Rs 1,300 crore worldwide and solidifying its status as one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films of the year. The film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. It narrates a gripping story set against the backdrop of covert Indian operations in Pakistan, drawing inspiration from real-life events such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
The upcoming sequel, titled Dhurandhar 2 – The Revenge, is poised to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. It will face competition at the box office from Yash’s Toxic and Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit.
