New Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Cell has initiated a global investigation into the alleged leak of former Army Chief General MM Naravane’s memoir “Four Stars of Destiny”. The book, which was yet to receive clearance from the Defence Ministry, had already entered global digital markets.

According to sources, the Delhi Police registered an FIR under charges of criminal conspiracy earlier this week, following questions raised by India Today Digital regarding how an unpublished book reached Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The investigation, which is being conducted in collaboration with international agencies, aims to identify the individuals and entities involved in the leak of sensitive information. The book’s premature release has sparked a controversy, with the Defence Ministry vowing to take action against those responsible.

The probe is expected to shed light on how the book was able to enter global digital markets without the requisite clearance from the Defence Ministry. The Delhi Police has assured that no stone will be left unturned in uncovering the truth behind the leak.
