In a tragic incident in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad area, an 18-year-old girl lost her life after a speeding truck collided with her scooter on March 5 around 6 pm. The victim, identified as Anjali Shankar Salve, was riding her scooter when the fatal accident occurred. The entire incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera, providing a clear view of the tragic event.
According to the footage, Anjali was riding her scooter along the road when a truck suddenly struck her from behind. The impact caused her to fall onto the road, and the heavy vehicle ran over her, leading to her immediate death. Witnesses at the scene rushed to help, and chaos ensued as bystanders gathered around.
Police officials quickly responded to the scene and launched an investigation. The truck driver, identified as Rajpal Kasbe, was arrested shortly after the incident.
