Bengaluru — A luxury Lamborghini was caught performing a dangerous high-speed drifting stunt at Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road early Saturday morning, prompting police action. The incident, which occurred between 2 and 3 a.m., was captured on surveillance footage and witnessed by several commuters.

According to authorities, the vehicle was seen executing reckless drifts at the busy junction, turning the area into an impromptu stunt zone and posing a serious risk to other road users. The viral 11-second video shows the car sliding dangerously while onlookers cheer before it speeds away from the scene.

Cubbon Park police registered an FIR against the vehicle’s owner based on the registration number. A case has been filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act. An investigation is underway to identify the driver at the time of the stunt and determine whether the registered owner was behind the wheel.

Police officials stated that further action will be taken once the investigation concludes.

In related news, a tragic incident involving a minor has also surfaced. The son of a Karnataka BJP leader died in a car accident in Hubballi on Thursday while shooting a social media reel. The teenager, identified as Nameesh Sangalad, was reportedly driving a 2022-model electric bike when the accident occurred.

The incident involved an Audi Q7, registered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, driven by another minor. The police said Nameesh was in Hubballi to celebrate Ugadi when he and friends went to shoot a reel on the outskirts of the city. During the shoot, the Audi Q7, driven in a zig-zag manner, collided with the electric bike ridden by Nameesh, who was approaching from the opposite direction.

The crash took place between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. in Shejawadkar Layout, Unkal region of Hubballi. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident and the negligent driving involved.
