Tech company Nothing, led by Carl Pei, appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next smartphone, the Nothing Phone 4a. The upcoming device has recently been spotted on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) certification website, indicating that the smartphone could be launched in the Middle East and possibly other markets soon.
The alleged Nothing Phone 4a has been assigned the model number A069 and was approved by the UAE telecom regulator on January 22. While the listing offers no specific details about the device’s specifications, industry insiders suggest that the smartphone is likely to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 3a, which was launched in India in March 2025.
The Phone 3a, powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 50W fast charging. It was priced starting at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant.
Recent leaks indicate that the forthcoming Nothing Phone 4a will be priced around $475 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Its premium variant, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, is rumored to cost about $540 (roughly Rs. 49,000) with similar specifications. The new series is expected to come in color options such as black, blue, pink, and white.
In terms of hardware, the Phone 4a is anticipated to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s series chipset, while the Pro model might be powered by a Snapdragon 7 series chip. These specifications align with the existing offerings of the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro.
